Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure is close to becoming fully fit ahead of Wednesday's Champions League semi-final showdown against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.
A thigh strain kept the 32-year-old out of last week's first leg at the Etihad Stadium, which ended in a goalless draw.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Toure has returned to training and could be included in the squad for this week's match in Spain.
Manager Manuel Pellegrini has claimed that the midfielder is working "with normality".
