Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has insisted that Juventus were "lucky" to leave the Etihad Stadium with three points following his team's 2-1 defeat at the hands of the Italians in the Champions League.
Late strikes by Mario Mandzukic and Alvaro Morata cancelled out Giorgio Chiellini's own goal and got the Old Lady off to a winning start in Group D, but the Ivorian claims that the Citizens were the better side throughout.
"I think the Italian team defended well and I think they were lucky today. We just have to be strong and try to bounce back in the next game. We missed a lot of chances today. We have to learn from it and try to do better," Toure told BT Sport.
City's next Champions League fixture is away to Borussia Monchengladbach on September 30.
