Good afternoon! Thank you very much for joining Sports Mole for what promises to be another exciting afternoon of FA Cup action. This competition never fails to deliver drama, and today should be no different.

Before we go any further, allow me to divert your attention to the day's earlier FA Cup kickoff, which sees Bournemouth host Premier League giants Liverpool. As things stand there is no an upset in the offing, with Liverpool leading 1-0 thanks to Victor Moses. You can follow the last 30 minutes or so of that game by clicking here.

If that match doesn't provide a shock, there are plenty of other opportunities for a good old fashioned cup upset today. There are 10 matches on show, and only one of them sees two teams in the same division going head to head. Most eyes will be on Kidderminster Harriers, who will be looking to pull off a famous upset against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

Liverpool have one foot firmly in the fifth round now courtesy of a Daniel Sturridge strike on the hour mark. It is hard to see a way back for Bournemouth in that game, especially given the strength of the side named by Brendan Rodgers.

If Liverpool hold on, they will join Arsenal in the fourth round after the Gunners cruised past Coventry last night, beating the Sky Blues 4-0 at the Emirates. Nottingham Forest and Preston were also in action yesterday, but that match will go to a replay after neither side did enough to win it.

So the Gunners were the first name in the hat for the fifth round, and Liverpool look like being the second. Let's take a look at which teams could be joining them in today's 3pm kickoffs...

FA CUP FOURTH ROUND MATCHES: Sunderland vs. Kidderminster; Bolton vs. Cardiff; Southampton vs. Yeovil; Huddersfield vs. Charlton; Port Vale vs. Brighton; Southend vs. Hull; Rochdale vs. Sheffield Wednesday; Wigan vs. Crystal Palace; Man City vs. Watford; Birmingham vs. Swansea.

SUNDERLAND VS. KIDDERMINSTER: This is perhaps the most eye-catching of the games today as it could provide one of the most famous FA Cup upsets of all time. Sunderland haven't been great in the Premier League so far this season, but their only defeat in their last five games came in the second leg of the League Cup semi-final, and even then they went on to reach the final on penalties. Kidderminster, meanwhile, shocked Peterborough in the last round and are sixth in the conference, level on points with the playoff positions. They lost their last outing 2-1 to Dartford, however.

The FA Cup has a habit of shocking and surprising people, and there is no doubt that the neutrals will be supporting Kidderminster for this game. However, the fact that it is at the Stadium of Light - and that Sunderland seem to raise their game in cup competitions this season - leaves me with little hope for the non-leaguers. I'll go for a 3-1 win to the Black Cats.

BOLTON VS. CARDIFF: Championship vs. Premier League matches are always intriguing, particularly when the Championship side is at home. This one is no different, and Bolton will be looking to bounce back in style from their 7-1 hammering at the hands of Reading last weekend. They are four points off the relegation zone in the Championship so are by no means safe at the moment, but they will have their full attention on claiming a Premier League scalp today. Cardiff are bottom of the top flight and could be back with Bolton in the Championship next season, although things are awfully tight in the Premier League so a couple of wins could propel them a long way up the table. They produced a fine win over Newcastle at St James' Park to qualify for this round.

Last season this was an all-Championship clash, and next season it could well be too, so don't get too drawn in by a division separating the two sides. Both will fancy their chances of getting a result today, but I think it could be forced into a replay. I'll go for a 1-1 draw.

SOUTHAMPTON VS. YEOVIL: This is another Premier League vs. Championship encounter but it looks a lot more straightforward (on paper at least) than the Bolton vs. Cardiff game. Southampton are ninth in the top flight and have little to worry about in terms of relegation or challenging for Europe, so they will have their full attention on the FA Cup. They overcame Burnley in a thrilling 4-3 win in the third round. Yeovil, meanwhile, thrashed Leyton Orient 4-0 to reach this stage, but they are struggling in the Championship. Despite a win over Birmingham last weekend they remain four points from safety and could have other priorities than progressing into the fifth round today.

Yeovil are one team always capable of surprising you with an unexpected victory. They did so against Birmingham last weekend, but Southampton, for all their off-field troubles recently, will pose a much tougher test this afternoon. I can't see anything other than a home win - 3-0 to Southampton.

HUDDERSFIELD VS. CHARLTON: This is the only match this afternoon that sees two sides from the same division go head to head. Huddersfield are currently 13th in the Championship and sit seven points off the playoffs and 10 off the relegation zone, so they should be fully focused on today's FA Cup tie. They left it late to beat non-league Grimsby in the last round and lost to QPR last weekend, however. Charlton are 21st in the Championship and very much embroiled in a relegation battle, only outside the bottom three on goal difference after results went against them last Saturday. They needed a replay to get past Oxford in the third round, eventually winning 3-0.

This should be quite a close game, but with Huddersfield having home advantage and not being more concerned with a relegation battle, I can see them coming out on top this afternoon. I'll go for a 1-0 win to the hosts.

PORT VALE VS. BRIGHTON: This is one match with a good chance of an upset today. Port Vale are eighth in League One, five points off the playoff positions. They had two very eventful games against Plymouth in the third round, drawing 2-2 in the initial match before winning the replay 3-2. Brighton are a whole division and one place above them in the league ladder, sitting seventh in the Championship. They are also chasing the playoffs this season and are two points outside the top six following a 1-0 defeat to Derby last weekend. They edged past Reading 1-0 in the third round.

Port Vale aren't in world-beating form, but with home advantage they will give Brighton a real test this afternoon. It could genuinely go either way and the hosts will certainly fancy their chances of pulling off an upset. However, I can see this one being a draw today, so I'll go for 1-1 and a replay at the Amex.

SOUTHEND VS. HULL: This one also has potential to be a massive upset as League Two Southend take on Hull. Southend boss Phil Brown knows the Tigers inside out having managed the club for four years, and he will look to use that knowledge to his side's advantage today. His side have lost just once in their last 15 games in all competitions and are just one point off the automatic promotion places in League Two. That good run of form includes a superb 4-1 win over Millwall in the third round. Hull, meanwhile, have had a successful first season back in the top flight but are just five points clear of the relegation zone in a tight bottom half of the table. They beat Middlesbrough 2-0 to reach this stage.

This one could be an upset, but Hull should have enough quality to see themselves past Southend today. The hosts do like an FA Cup shock, and they will certainly feel that they are capable of one today, but I think a Hull win, or perhaps a draw, is more realistic. I'll go for 2-1 to the visitors.

ROCHDALE VS. SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY: This is perhaps the most promising match for an upset this afternoon as League Two side Rochdale host Sheffield Wednesday. Rochdale have lost just one of their last eight matches, a run which includes a 2-0 win over Wednesday's Yorkshire rivals Leeds in the third round. They sit one point off the top of League Two and harbour very realistic hopes of promotion this season. Wednesday can also boast a recent win over Leeds, by six goals to nil no less, and they come into this match unbeaten in seven games. They remain just two points clear of the relegation zone in the Championship, however, so they could be distracted a bit by that today. They needed a replay to beat non-league Macclesfield in the last round, which should give Rochdale a bit of confidence.

Rochdale are flying high in their table, but Wednesday have become hard to beat under caretaker manager Stuart Gray. A home win is a realistic outcome in this match, but I think Wednesday will be forced into another replay. I'll go for 1-1.

So Liverpool join Arsenal in the fifth round of the FA Cup courtesy of a 2-0 win away to Bournemouth. That is a banana skin avoided for Brendan Rodgers, who named a string starting lineup despite having a Merseyside derby on Tuesday. Victor Moses and Daniel Sturridge got their goals.

WIGAN VS. CRYSTAL PALACE: This is one of the more intriguing matches this afternoon as an in-form Championship side takes on a struggling Premier League side. Wigan's unbeaten run under Uwe Rosler came to an abrupt end last weekend when they were beaten 3-0 by Doncaster, but that is their only defeat in nine matches. They are now five points off the playoffs in the Championship, although they did need extra time in a replay to beat MK Dons in the third round. Palace, meanwhile, have also improved under their new manager this season, with Tony Pulis leading the Eagles out of the relegation zone. They are now two points clear of the bottom three following a 1-0 win over Stoke in their last outing. They beat West Brom 2-0 to reach this stage of the competition.

This is one of the tougher ones to call out of today's games. Wigan will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Doncaster, while Palace have had some very good result lately and will fancy their chances this afternoon. I think the two teams will cancel each other out in the end, so I'll plump for a 2-2 draw.

MAN CITY VS. WATFORD: On paper, it seems that Watford have no chance. Man City have been unstoppable at home this season, apart from one defeat to Bayern Munich, and there will be very few people backing the visitors today. City are unbeaten in 18 matches in all competitions, winning 16 of those, and are now just one point off the top of the Premier League. They needed a replay to get past Blackburn in the third round, but Rovers were dispatched 5-0 here. They also progressed into the final of the League Cup earlier this weekend, recorded a 9-0 aggregate win over West Ham. Watford, meanwhile, have won just two of their last 16 games, one of which came in a replay against Bristol City in the last round.

There are plenty of chances for shocks in the FA Cup today, and this would arguably be the biggest of the lot if Watford can get a win. However, that is simply not going to happen, and it seems more of a question of how many goals will City score. I'm going to go for a 4-0 home win, but it really could be anything.

BIRMINGHAM VS. SWANSEA: Another Championship vs. Premier League match, and another opportunity for an upset. Birmingham are currently 17th in the Championship, just five points clear of the relegation zone following their surprise 2-0 defeat to Yeovil last weekend. However, Swansea aren't in great form themselves, with just one win in their last 10 matches in all competitions. The visitors will be buoyed by knowing that the sole victory was a memorable one, though, beating Manchester United in the third round to reach this stage of the competition.

It would be an upset if Birmingham win this match, but I wouldn't be too surprised to see it happen. This is one of those games when any result is possible, so I'm going to sit firmly on the fence and go for a 1-1 draw!

Those are our 10 matches on offer today and, as you can see, there is plenty of scope for another eventful day of FA Cup action. A reminder that Arsenal and Liverpool are already in the draw for the next round, while Stevenage host Everton in the day's late kickoff.

There is almost always an upset in the FA Cup, so which match will provide it today? Port Vale vs. Brighton? Rochdale vs. Sheffield Wednesday? Southend vs. Hull? Or perhaps it will even be Man City vs. Watford or Sunderland vs. Kidderminster. There are a number of lower league sides playing at home today, which is usually a recipe for a shock or two.

Sticking at the Stadium of Light, it is not surprising to hear that the hosts are putting their non-league opponents under heavy pressure in the opening stages of that match. An early goal for Sunderland would really deflate Kidderminster and settle the hosts into the game.

There is that early goal! After heavy pressure from the first whistle Sunderland break the deadlock nice and early courtesy of Charis Mavrias's first goal for the club. The Greek winger curled an effort in from 10 yards after a poor clearance from Gowling.

That is such a blow for the non-league side, who have an even bigger mountain to climb now if they want to pull off a major upset. Still, you can be sure that the fans and the players will enjoy their day out whatever the score.

Watford have made a lively start at the Etihad, where they are looking to become the only English side beat Man City at home all season. You feel that an attacking approach is the right one to take, particularly after Coventry's defensive tactics simply didn't work in the first half against Arsenal last night. If you're going to go down, go down fighting.

Things are heating up at the Reebok after a tame start to the match. Both Bolton and Cardiff have had decent sights of goal in the last few minutes, but it remains goalless there.

Birmingham take the lead against Premier League side Swansea! It is Novak with the goal, flicking a good cross from Caddis past Tremmel with a decent header. That could be a shock in the making at St Andrews.

It's all a little quiet on the goal front at the moment - too quiet. I expect the goals to start flooding in sooner rather than later, as there is very rarely an FA Cup weekend with a shortage of them!

Southampton have come within inches of taking the lead against Yeovil, Jay Rodriguez getting above his man to thump a header from Clyne's cross onto the crossbar. Very close for the Premier League side.

Yes, you read that right! This most certainly wasn't in the script as Watford take the lead against Manchester City at the Etihad! The goal came just after the visitors have squandered another good chance, but Fernando Forestieri made amends moments later with a composed finish past Pantilimon having been slipped through by Troy Deeney.

Southampton have taken the lead against Yeovil from the penalty spot. Phil Dowd awarded the spot kick after adjudging that Jos Hooiveld had been pushed inside the box from a corner. Guly do Prado stepped up and made no mistake from 12 yards to put his side ahead.

Southend have come very close to taking a shock lead over Hull. Corr flicked a header towards the top corner but was denied by a fine fingertip save from Steve Harper.

Brighton have taken the lead against their League One opponents Port Vale, and it is Rohan Ince who has got the goal. That has been a fairly even encounter so far, with the hosts having a loud penalty claim turned down by the ref before Ince clipped Orlandi's corner home.

Oh my word, what on earth is going on at the Etihad Stadium?! Watford are in dreamland having doubled their lead against Manchester City. This time Sean Murray and Ikechi Anya combined to set up Troy Denney, who flicked an effort home. City's quadruple hopes are fading fast!

What is even more surprising is that it has not been a smash and grab from Watford either. They deserve their lead so far against a City side who have the likes of Yaya Toure and Sergio Aguero playing. The FA Cup never fails to disappoint, does it? Can the Hornets hold out now?

Wigan take the lead against Crystal Palace as they look to continue their defence of the FA Cup. Ben Watson got the goal against his former club, turning James McClean's cut back into the net. Elsewhere Port Vale have levelled things up against Brighton thanks to Robertson's stooping header from a Lines corner.

Birmingham are pushing hard for a second against Swansea, and they almost got it just three minutes after taking the lead. Gerhard Tremmel's mistake allowed Rusnak to get a shot in, but Ashley Williams was there to clear off the line.

Yeovil have missed a good chance to level things up at St Mary's as Ralls found James Hayter inside the box, but Davis gathered his effort at the second attempt. The Saints could do with a second goal in that one to help them breathe easy.

Brighton are back in front at Vale Park and it is Solomon March with the goal just before half time. He lobbed the keeper with a first-time effort having been picked out by Orlandi's corner. They will surely now take that lead into the interval.

Sunderland and Kidderminster are the first teams to go into the break in this afternoon's 3pm kickoffs. The Black Cats lead the Harriers 1-0 at the Stadium of Light and they are looking pretty comfortable.

Most of the games are edging into half time now, but we will have an extended half at the DW Stadium, where eight minutes of added time have been signalled due to treatment given to Jonathan Parr during the first half.

Indeed, that Wigan match is now the only game still going on, so let's take a look at the half-time scores from the other nine matches. There are some very interesting ones here...

So, it hasn't quite been a goalfest around the country so far, but there are some eye-catching scorelines already and a couple of upsets in the making. The 10 games have yielded just nine goals so far, but expect that tally to rocket in the second half.

For one, I still expect Man City to score a few in the second half. That result is by far the most surprising of the day so far, with Watford taking a 2-0 lead into the break at the Etihad. Remember, only Bayern Munich have won there against City this season, and many top sides have been seen off having shipped plenty of goals. City are going to have to rediscover that free-scoring form in the second half if their quadruple dream is to stay alive.

Other potential upsets so far are going on at the DW Stadium, where Wigan lead Premier League side Crystal Palace at the break, and also at St Andrew's, with Birmingham 1-0 up against Swansea. Sheffield Wednesday, Hull and Cardiff are also all being held to goalless draws by lower league opposition at the moment.

As things stand, though, Sunderland, Southampton and Brighton are all avoiding potential banana skins in their matches. However, each of them only lead their respective opponents by one goal, and as long as it remains that way then anything could happen. Kidderminster, in particular, will be looking to keep the Black Cats within a solitary goal.

Speaking of Sunderland Kidderminster, we are back underway at the Stadium of Light, with the non-leaguers getting us restarted for the second half.

They are now back underway at the Etihad ahead of a huge second half for both Man City and Watford. Can the hosts recover from the two-goal deficit and keep their quadruple hopes alive, or will Watford hold out for a famous victory?

Yeovil have made a bright start to their second half against Southampton, forcing Kelvin Davis into a good early save through Ayling's effort. Can they overturn the 1-0 deficit in that match to pull off a shock victory?

Southend have also come close to breaking the deadlock against Premier League opposition. Just four minutes after the restart Timlin fires a fine strike towards goal that thumps off the crossbar. Very close for the League Two side.

Cardiff take the lead in what has been a very even game at the Reebok Stadium. Noone, who came on as a half-time sub, sent a cross in that Lonergan failed to deal with, allowing Frazier Campbell to fire home from a tight angle. Wednesday are also ahead against Rochdale, with Mattock glancing in Maguire's header.

Still no goals for Man City in the second half. They brought on Kompany and Zabaleta at the break, which is an interesting change from Pellegrini given that they are both defensive players. However, Watford had been threatening in that first half so perhaps with those two reliable players at the back, City can risk more men to break forward.

Charlton take the lead in their all-Championship clash with Huddersfield, Simon Church getting the goal having been played through by Lawrie Wilson. Wednesday have doubled their advantage against Rochdale through Onyewu's poked finish, making it two goals in less than 10 minutes for the visitors there. Meanwhile, at the Etihad, Man City finally have a goal back courtesy of a Sergio Aguero finish from Kolarov's cross. Game on there.

Hull finally have the lead against League Two side Southend, just as things were beginning to get a little nervy for the visitors. Matty Fryatt got the goal having danced his way into the box and slotted the ball past Bentley. Meanwhile, the goalfest in the second half at Spotlands continues as Rose slams a fine long-range strike past the keeper to half the deficit for Rochdale against Wednesday.

City seem to be gaining in confidence as the game goes on against Watford, and you wouldn't bet against them going on to win that match now. Watford are a tough task ahead of them to hold on for the remaining 25 minutes or so, but even if they can earn a replay that will be a lot better than they were expecting before the game.

What a turnaround from Swansea! They score twice in as many minutes to take the lead against Birmingham at St Andrew's. Wilfried Bony got the first goal with a volley from Lamah's cross, before doubling his personal tally moments later to give his side the lead. Elsewhere, Joe Mattock has been sent off for Wednesday for a second bookable offence having scored earlier in the game, and Southampton have doubled their lead against Yeovil thanks to a Sam Gallagher strike.

Bolton are pushing for an equaliser against Cardiff and have tested Marshall in goal on a couple of occasions in the last few minutes. Can the Championship side claw their way back into that one? They currently trail 1-0.

Time is running out for Man City to save their FA Cup tie against Watford. The Hornets are clinging on to their shock lead at the Etihad, and the hosts now have just 15 minutes to change things. They have made all three subs, so it is now down to the players on the pitch. Can they pull off a dramatic comeback?

Palace get an equaliser against Wigan with just over 20 minutes to go. Aaron Wilbraham got the goal for the Eagles, finishing from close range to keep their FA Cup hopes alive.

Man City have done it! They have erased the two-goal deficit in the second half, with Aguero bagging both goals, the latest of which was a fine finish into the top corner. The comeback is not yet complete, however, as Manuel Pellegrini's side will now be pushing on for a winner in the final 10 minutes or so. Can they get one and break Watford hearts, or will the Hornets take City back to Vicarage Road for a replay?

It looks like Brighton will be in the hat for the fifth round draw. They have opening up a two-goal cushion against Port Vale with just over 10 minutes left to go in that match courtesy of an Obika strike.

City are really pushing for a winner against Watford now. They have around five minutes to find one or they will face a replay having already been taking to a replay by Blackburn in the third round.

Oh it is heartbreak for Watford, and the third City goal comes in perhaps the worst way possible. A low 30-yard strike from Kolarov slips through the hands of Jonathan Bond and into the net. It is a howler from the keeper to most likely lose his side the game in the 86th minute. Meanwhile, Wigan regain the lead against Crystal Palace thanks to James McClean's first goal for the club. There is a little longer left in that game than most due to a lengthy period of injury time at the end of the first half.

It is game over for Southend as Hull score a second at the death to secure their place in round five of the FA Cup. Matty Fryatt gets his name on the scoresheet again with a jinking run before smashing a fine finish past Bentley.

There is the icing on the comeback cake for Manchester City as they erase a two-goal half-time deficit to take a 4-2 lead in the closing stages. It is a hat-trick for Sergio Aguero as he nods in at the far post. If there is any consolation for Bond, it will be that his howler has no longer cost his side the game.

The Wigan game is the final one still playing after eight minutes of stoppage time in the first half due to an injury. They still lead Crystal Palace 2-1 going into the dying stages of that match - can they hold out in second-half stoppage time or will Palace get a dramatic late equaliser?

There is your answer! Wigan hold out to see off Premier League opposition and put their name in the hat for the fifth round of the FA Cup. Plenty of goals and plenty of drama, as usual in the FA Cup then. Perhaps the most dramatic match came at the Etihad, where City got an unexpected scare before coming back to win. They were 2-0 down at the halfway stage but scored four second-half goals - including two in the final six minutes - to secure their place in the fifth round and keep their quadruple hopes alive.

There were seven Premier League teams in action today, and six of them progressed into the next round. Crystal Palace were the only top flight team who failed to do so, losing to Wigan in the only surprise result of the day so far. Southend did hold Hull for a long time before two Matty Fryatt goals gave the visitors the win, while Swansea relied on Wilfried Bony to score two in as many minutes to take them past Birmingham. Kidderminster can feel proud of their efforts despite being eliminated as the non-league side held Sunderland to just one goal at the Stadium of Light.
