Blackburn Rovers manager Gary Bowyer has attributed his team's 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Manchester City to his young side's inexperience.
Alvaro Negredo and Edin Dzeko both bagged a brace during the FA Cup third-round replay, with substitute Sergio Aguero also on target for the Sky Blues.
"We committed bodies forward, we are young team and maybe there is a lesson learned there. You saw the difference between the Championship and the Premier League," BBC Sport quotes Bowyer as saying.
City will play Watford at home in the fourth round.
