James Milner has insisted that there will be no divided loyalties when Manchester City face his former club Leeds United this afternoon.
City welcome Leeds in the FA Cup fifth round and the 27-year-old will be focused only on a home win, even if it means upsetting his family.
"I enjoyed every minute there," Milner told the Daily Telegraph. "I am a Leeds lad, a Leeds fan and the only disappointment is that I didn't get to play for them a bit longer.
"I always look for Leeds's result first if they have been playing. But there won't be any divided loyalties as far as I'm concerned. All of my family are Leeds fans and it's going to be tough for them.
"Leeds will come here with nothing to lose and it will be their cup final, so we're under no illusions about how hard it will be."
Leeds travel to the Etihad Stadium to face City at 2pm.
