Manchester City team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Everton

:Headline: Manchester City team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Everton: ID:349289: from db_amp
Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for Manchester City ahead of Wednesday's Premier League clash with Everton.

Manchester City will have the chance to put some more permanent pressure on Liverpool in the Premier League title race when they face Everton in a rearranged fixture on Wednesday night.

City were not fully punished for their recent slip-up at Newcastle United, and returned to winning ways on Sunday with a comfortable 3-1 win over Arsenal at the Etihad.

Originally scheduled for later this month, their clash with Everton has been brought forward as a result of their participation in the EFL Cup final, and the champions could do damage to two Merseysiders in one game with a win at Goodison Park.

Here, Sports Mole looks at the latest injury and suspension news for Pep Guardiola's side.

MAN CITY'S INJURY LIST

Benjamin Mendy

Status: Slight doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: February 6

Mendy suffered a reaction to his return against Burton Albion last month and has subsequently missed the last three games, but he could be ready to feature against the Toffees.

Vincent Kompany

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: Unknown

Kompany has been sidelined since the win over Liverpool on January 3 and has not yet been set a return date from the muscle problem.

Claudio Bravo

Status: Out
Type of injury: Achilles
Possible return date: Unknown

Claudio Bravo has been absent since August with an Achilles problem and remains a long-term casualty for the champions.

MAN CITY'S SUSPENSION LIST

Man City have no players suspended, but Fernandinho is just one yellow card away from a ban and Kompany has also accrued four bookings this term.
