Sports Mole

Manchester City will be looking to win back-to-back games for the first time since the end of October when they travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Citizens ended a miserable seven-match winless run in all competitions when they secured a morale-boosting 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.

However, Man City's win came at a price, as Pep Guardiola is now dealing with two fresh injury concerns ahead of his team's trip to the capital.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with Oliver Glasner's side.

Rodri

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Man City are set to be without influential midfielder Rodri for the rest of the season after he suffered knee ligament damage in a 2-2 draw with Arsenal in September.

However, the Spaniard has since offered a positive update on hia recovery and has set a new target for when he wishes to return.

Oscar Bobb

Status: Out
Type of injury: Leg fracture
Possible return date: Unknown

Oscar Bobb sustained a fracture to a bone in his leg during a training session in August and Guardiola has revealed that the attacker is targeting a return between January and February of next year.

Mateo Kovacic

Status: Out
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: December 21 (vs. Aston Villa)

Mateo Kovacic sustained an unspecified injury on international duty with Croatia last month and he is facing a race against time to be back before Christmas.

John Stones

Status: Out
Type of injury: Foot
Possible return date: Unknown

John Stones has missed Man City's last three games since coming off at half time in last month's 4-0 defeat to Spurs with a foot injury, and there is currently no timeframe on the defender's return.

Nathan Ake

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Nathan Ake sustained an apparent hamstring injury in the closing stages of Man City's win over Nottingham Forest and Guardiola has since revealed that it "doesn't look good" for the defender, who is ruled out of Saturday's game and is facing a spell on the sidelines.

Manuel Akanji

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: December 7 (vs. Crystal Palace)

Manuel Akanji was taken off at half time against Nottingham Forest with an unspecified problem. Guardiola stated after the match that the defender has "struggled a lot over the last two months" with the issue, but a return against Crystal Palace has not been ruled out just yet.

Phil Foden

Status: Out
Type of issue: Bronchitis
Possible return date: December 11 (vs. Juventus)

Phil Foden missed Man City's win over Nottingham Forest due to bronchitis and Guardiola has since revealed that the Englishman is "not ready" to return against Crystal Palace.
