Roy Hodgson has confirmed that Fabian Delph has pulled out of the England squad for tomorrow's friendly against France at Wembley.
The Manchester City midfielder featured against Spain in Alicante on Friday night, but he then sat out a training session yesterday afternoon.
Hodgson opted not to reveal the reason behind Delph's withdrawal, although he has only recently returned to action following a hamstring injury.
The omission of Delph has left the England boss without 17 regular squad members for the visit of the French.
