Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini reveals that Fabian Delph is likely to miss six weeks of action due to his latest hamstring injury.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has revealed that Fabian Delph is likely to be on the treatment table for around six weeks with a hamstring injury.

The midfielder was injured just nine seconds into England's Euro 2016 qualifier against Switzerland on Tuesday, which ended in a 2-0 victory for the Three Lions at Wembley.

During his weekly press conference, Pellegrini told reporters: "[For Delph], I don't know how long it will be, we'll see. I think at this moment it will be a month-and-a-half."

Delph, who signed for City from Aston Villa in the summer, had only recently returned from a similar injury that he suffered in pre-season in the summer.

Meanwhile, David Silva has been ruled out of Saturday's match against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park due to an ankle injury.
