Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has revealed that Sergio Aguero suffered a hamstring problem during Saturday's Premier League clash with West Ham United.
The Argentina international was replaced at the interval of the 1-1 draw at the London Stadium.
The experienced striker has only just returned from a knee operation, making his comeback in the 1-0 win over Arsenal last weekend before scoring in the Champions League against Porto during the week.
Phil Foden replaced Aguero at half time against the Hammers, though, and Guardiola said after the match that the club's all-time leading goalscorer had picked up a hamstring problem in the first half.
The 32-year-old could now be set for another spell on the sidelines, although an update on the South American's situation, and the seriousness of the issue, is expected to arrive on Sunday.
Aguero's contract at the Etihad Stadium is due to expire in June 2021.
