Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that Yaya Toure will be in the Manchester City squad for tomorrow night's final Champions League group encounter against Borussia Monchengladbach.
The Ivorian midfielder sat out the weekend's 2-0 defeat at the hands of Stoke City with a muscular complaint.
However, he has since proven his fitness to come into contention for the clash at the Etihad Stadium.
"He had a very small muscle injury. It was not too long for him to recover so he is in the squad list," Pellegrini told reporters.
However, the City manager then confirmed that neither centre-forward Sergio Aguero nor Vincent Kompany would be ready to face the German visitors.
"Sergio has an injury which means he cannot work normally so he needs time to recover. It's not serious, it's a pain injury," he added.
"We hope he will be back this week but we'll see how he improves in the next day. If he can run with normality, he can work.
"Vincent is improving. He is doing some tests with his calf. We will see in the next days how he improves."
Already-qualified City must beat Gladbach and hope that Juventus slip up against Sevilla to advance through as group winners.
