Manchester City's Sergio Aguero has said that he finds it "embarrassing" and "disrespectful" to be compared to Diego Maradona.
The Argentina international, who joined the Manchester outfit earlier this summer for a fee of £38m, admits that while he sees similarities in their playing styles, no-one will ever match his "all-time great" father-in-law.
"I find it embarrassing when people compare me to Maradona. It's disrespectful. There is only one Maradona," he told The Mirror.
"People who say this just have no idea, they don't know what they are talking about. And you won't find me ever fuelling comparisons with him.
"Diego was a complete one-off, an all-time great who can never be matched and will never have an equal on the football pitch."
Aguero scored 74 goals in 175 games for former club Atletico Madrid before sealing his switch to the Etihad Stadium last month.
