Newcastle United striker Demba Ba has warned Premier League title chasers Manchester City that they won't have it all their own way when they visit St James' Park this afternoon.
City know a win will edge them a step closer to the title while Newcastle need three points just as much as they chase a surprise European spot.
"We are in no mood to surrender the points with so much at stake," the Magpies' top scorer Ba told The Sun on Sunday.
"City are in for a tough afternoon because we're determined to win the game and boost our chances of Champions League football.
"Nobody can expect to play us at home and have an easy time —regardless of whether they are chasing the title or not."
The 26-year-old recently accepted a Twitter bet with a Manchester United fan who said he would get the Senegalese's name and number on his Red Devils shirt if he scores the winner against City.
Victory over City today could see Newcastle surge up to third in the Premier League, although they will be hoping Spurs fail to take three points at Aston Villa.
