Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has insisted that his team are the best in England after their dramatic Premier League title win.
A last-gasp goal from Sergio Aguero earned the Blues a 3-2 victory over Queens Park Rangers at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday to give them their first title triumph in 44 years.
"This proves that we are the best. That's why we won," said Balotelli. "The season's been good, so we deserve to win."
The Italian also claimed that he is likely to stay at the club following speculation that he could move over the summer.
"Personally, too many people talk and say bad things about me. Now, they just have to shut up. Man City is a great club and a great team, and I don't see my future far from here."
Balotelli moved to City from Inter Milan in August 2010.
