Bayern Munich chief Hasan Salihamidzic has suggested that Manchester City winger Leroy Sane is unlikely to move to the Allianz Arena in January.
Despite sitting out the first half of the campaign with a serious knee injury, speculation persists regarding the future of Sane, who has just 18 months left on his City contract.
While there have been claims that both parties hope to push through a big-money deal at the beginning of 2020, Salihamidzic has hinted that the Bundesliga side will not do much business next month.
Speaking to reporters, Salihamidzic said: "Sane? I don't want to talk about other clubs players. We will wait and see but we aren't expecting to do much in January."
Given their relatively small squad, City may wish to keep hold of Sane until at least the summer transfer window.
