Hull City boss Steve Bruce has admitted that it was "difficult to judge" his side's display as they were beaten 2-0 by Manchester City.
City were forced to play over 80 minutes with 10 men after Vincent Kompany was sent off for a professional foul on Nikica Jelavic, and Bruce claimed that it was hard to analyse his team's performance.
Speaking to BT Sport the Tigers manager said: "It's difficult to judge because once David Silva scores, we're chasing the game. The big turning point was the goal [from Silva]. If we had dug in for the next 15 or 20 minutes after the sending off it might have been different.
"They score soon after [the red card] and we're chasing the game and when you're chasing the game against a team like City, even with 10 men, it's hard.
"It was frustrating and it was a difficult afternoon."
The Tigers are currently 14th in the Premier League.
