West Ham United defender Carl Jenkinson has insisted that he and his teammates will not fear Manchester City when they go head to head on Saturday.
Manuel Pellegrini's side have had a blistering start to the season by winning all five of their Premier League games.
The Hammers are also on a positive run as they have claimed back-to-back wins over Liverpool and Newcastle United.
"Of course they are flying at the moment, but we've got some good results against the big teams this season so we've got to be encouraged by that," Jenkinson told West Ham's official website.
"We can afford to go there with no fear at the moment, with the way we are playing this season. People aren't expected to go to City and win these days and it's not that easy, but we'll go there confident and play with no fear."
City will head into this fixture at the Etihad Stadium on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Juventus in the Champions League group stage.
