Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has said that teammate Leroy Sane is capable of being "one of the best" players in the world, adding that the German's ability is "scary".
Sane returned from an ankle injury in City's 3-0 Premier League win over Arsenal on Thursday, providing two assists to take his tally for the season to 11, three behind De Bruyne.
Sane, who has also scored eight league goals this term, can develop into a threat to any side, according to his Belgian teammate.
"He can be one of the best in the world if he wants to be. It's scary what he can do," De Bruyne told the Manchester Evening News.
De Bruyne also commented on comparisons between Sane and Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs, saying: "It's different - Giggs did it for how many years? He's a legend of the Premier League.
"Hopefully [Sane] can do the same and it will be beautiful."
City face their third game in seven days on Sunday when Pep Guardiola's side host Chelsea.
