Former Manchester City and Norwich City manager John Bond has passed away at the age of 79.
Bond, who racked up 444 appearances for West Ham United during his playing days, had a number of managerial stints including terms at Birmingham City and Swansea City.
The former professional right-back began his managerial career at Bournemouth in 1970 and eventually retired from the game in 1999 at Witton Albion.
Bond was the father of Kevin Bond, who left his assistant coaching role at Tottenham Hotspur in the summer following the dismissal of manager Harry Redknapp.
