Pep Guardiola: 'Manchester City can still improve'

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola insists that his team are still capable of better performances, despite recording 15 wins in a row in the Premier League.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has claimed that his team are capable of playing "much, much better".

On Wednesday night, Manchester City became the first team to record 15 successive victories in the Premier League as they defeated Swansea City 4-0 at the Liberty Stadium.

However, while Guardiola has acknowledged that he has been pleased with City's recent displays the Spaniard feels that his team are yet to reach their peak.

The 46-year-old told reporters: "Tomorrow is an important game. Spurs are to tough. Last season and this season. Nothing is going to change - we are not going to win the Premier League tomorrow, we are not going to lose it either.

"It's important to play better, that is the most important thing. The record will always stay there until one day it is broken. I am happy not with the results but the way we play Statistics are good but I have the feeling we can be much, much better."

City play host to Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening sitting 11 points clear at the top of the table.
