Ilkay Gundogan has talked up the "incredible" composure shown by teammate Raheem Sterling to net another late winner for Manchester City.
The England international curled the ball out of Fraser Forster's reach in the sixth minute of added time as the Citizens earned a late 2-1 win over Southampton on Wednesday evening.
Sterling has netted four goals in the 84th minute or later, including one in each of his side's last three games - winners against Feyenoord, Huddersfield Town and now the Saints.
Gundogan has been left amazed by the ex-Liverpool winger's form, telling reporters: "The way he scored was just incredible, especially in the last seconds of the game.
"It is not easy to do that and he is playing an unbelievable season. He was definitely the main man out there and we are so happy to have him.
"I guess this is why we play football, why everybody loves to watch football. We feel so happy after that second goal. It was a really good day for us."
Sterling's strike took his tally for the season to 13 goals in 19 games, beating his best-ever return for a single campaign.
