Inter Milan forward Stevan Jovetic has revealed that he was "very close" to joining Juventus during his time at Manchester City.
The Montenegrin is currently on an 18-month loan with Inter, but ahead of Sunday's tie with the Italian champions Jovetic has said that his agent was in talks with Juventus.
"During [Antonio] Conte's spell at the club I was very close to joining Juve," Jovetic is quoted as saying by FIFA.com.
"They called my agent and although I never spoke with Conte myself, in the end I decided to stay with City."
Jovetic has scored three goals in five appearances for his new club.
