Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany is fully fit ahead of the club's clash with Manchester United this weekend, according to manager Manuel Pellegrini.
The Belgian has been absent since City's match against Newcastle United on the opening day of the season, having picked up a groin injury.
However, the 27-year-old made his return and started for the club during their 3-0 win over Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League on Tuesday, and Pellegrini feels that Kompany has no physical issues heading into the Manchester derby.
"Vincent has worked very well in last few days, I had some doubt in last the last 10 minutes to change him but I saw he was playing without fear so he will arrive without a problem," Pellegrini told Sky Sports News.
