Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has praised his teammates for their professional job to squeeze past Crystal Palace in Saturday's 1-0 win.
Kompany said that he had expected Palace to battle and be tight, and was relieved that City managed to take the points thanks to Edin Dzeko's second-half strike.
"Had a feeling it wasn't going to be easy," BBC Sport quotes Kompany as saying. "Credit to Crystal Palace, they were well organised. Ultimately, great three points and job well done."
The win meant that City moved to the top of the Premier League.
