Celtic defender Mikael Lustig has backed loan signing John Guidetti to be a success at the club.
The striker, 22, joined the Scottish champions on a season-long deal from Manchester City on Thursday following FIFA approval.
Despite the youngster's struggles to make an impact at City in recent seasons, Lustig expects Guidetti to be a good addition to the Celtic squad.
"He's a really big talent that has struggled with injuries in the last couple of years. He has been trying to secure a starting place at Manchester City but everyone knows how hard it is to get a striking place there," Lustig told the club's official website.
"He has a really good opportunity here. People think you can just go to Celtic and score a lot of goals but we have seen a lot of strikers who haven't managed that. But he has everything in his locker to make it here."
Guidetti made six appearances for Stoke during a loan spell with at the Britannia Stadium last season.
