Algerian attacker Riyad Mahrez has said that it felt "very good" to make his Manchester City debut.
Mahrez joined City from Leicester City earlier this month, and appeared for the first time for his new club in their 1-0 defeat to Borussia Dortmund in Chicago.
Despite the defeat, Mahrez - who played 73 minutes of the pre-season friendly - was pleased with his own performance.
"I feel very good. It was a good game. We had some good moments. The most important thing was to get some minutes, to run and try to play the way City plays," Mahrez told City's official website. "I think we played a good game. It was a good start."
City will continue their preparations for the new campaign with a clash against Liverpool on July 26, before also facing Bayern Munich ahead of the Community Shield against Chelsea on August 5.
