Manchester City are expected to announce the identity of their new manager within the next 10 to 14 days, according to midfielder Gareth Barry.
The former Premier League champions have been hunting for a new boss following the dismissal of Roberto Mancini, who lost is job after losing the FA Cup final to Wigan Athletic earlier this month.
While there has been no official word from the North-West outfit, it has been widely reported that outgoing Malaga manager Manuel Pellegrini will be appointed as Mancini's successor.
"They have told the players the new manager will be announced in between 10 days and two weeks," Sky Sports News quotes Barry as saying.
Meanwhile, Pellegrini added fuel to the fire when he revealed that City have offered him the managerial position.
