Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has praised opponents Queens Park Rangers after his side's 3-2 win at Loftus Road.
Goals from Edin Dzeko, David Silva and Yaya Toure have kept the Blues five points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
"QPR played very well but I think that in the end it was important that we beat QPR," the Italian told ESPN.
"It was hard because also in the second half we played better but if you dont close the game you can take a risk and anything can happen."
Mancini also lauded the contribution of midfielder Silva, who recently missed out on the Ballon D'Or shortlist.
"David for me is one of the best players in europe," he added.
City host third place Newcastle United in the Premier League after the international break.
