Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has confirmed that striker Michu will miss the rest of the season.
The Spaniard suffered a hamstring injury in the second half of their 0-0 draw with Manchester City at the Liberty Stadium this afternoon.
Speaking after the game, Laudrup confirmed that his forward would not play again this campaign.
"I am not sure if he has torn [the hamstring] but, even if it is less than that, this will be his last game of the season," he told reporters.
However, the Dane said that he was happy to come out of the game with a point to show for his side's efforts against Roberto Mancini's men.
"I have to be pleased with a point, especially if you analyse the game," he said. "In the first 35 minutes we played some very good football and created chances.
"But if you don't score in your good moments, there is always a danger the other team will come into the game, especially a side like Manchester City, who can punish you."
The stalemate means the Swans are now ninth in the Premier League.
