James Milner has praised Manchester City's fighting spirit following their 4-2 win over Fulham in the Premier League.
The Blues surrendered a two-goal lead at Craven Cottage on Saturday before late strikes from Jesus Navas and Milner sealed the points for the visitors.
City are now in second place in the table heading into the Christmas period.
"When they got two back we really had to dig in," Sky Sports News quotes Milner as saying. "To come back again and show the character to kick on and get the two goals was pleasing.
"It's a good start to the festive period. A lot of games are coming up, but if we can keep that desire and that will to win up, that will get you most of the way."
City return to Premier League action on Boxing Day when they play host to title rivals Liverpool.
