Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has said that Sergio Aguero is one of the "three best players in the world".
The Citizens recorded a 6-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur this weekend, with Aguero finding the back of the net twice to take his tally to 10 goals in the Premier League this season.
Pellegrini was quick to praise the striker and also singled out Alvaro Negredo for his displays since joining the club in the summer.
"For me, Kun (Sergio Aguero) is just after [Lionel] Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as one of the three best players in the world," he told the club's official website.
"Alvaro I've known for eight years during my time in Spain – that's why he's here. He's a perfect player for the Premier League, he likes the football here and the way the team plays."
