The first Manager and Player of the Month awards of the 2015-16 Premier League season have been won by Manuel Pellegrini and Andre Ayew respectively.
Manchester City boss Pellegrini led his side to the only 100% record in August and the Citizens also did not concede a goal to lead the way by three points.
City were dominant throughout last month, most impressively beating champions Chelsea 3-0 at home on matchday two to signal their early intent for a third Premier League title in five years.
Pellegrini beat off competition from three others to claim the prize, while Swansea City forward Ayew was one of six nominees for the Player award.
The 25-year-old only joined the Welsh side this summer, but has taken no time to adapt to the Premier League, helping Swansea to an unbeaten opening month.
The Ghanaian international scored three goals in four games and also set up Bafetimbi Gomis's winner with an outside-of-the-boot pass in Swansea's last match against Manchester United.
