Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has admitted that he is pleased with his side's draw with Stoke City.
Neither side could break the deadlock in the 90 minutes at the Britannia Stadium in a game of few clear-cut chances.
Pellegrini told BBC Sport: "It is always a difficult game at Stoke, but it's a good point in a difficult week with all the players we had on international duty.
"We could only spend one day with the squad and we also have the Champions League next week."
City are currently fourth in the Premier League after four games.
