Everton boss Roberto Martinez describes Sergio Aguero as "phenomenal" ahead of Everton's visit to Manchester City.

Everton boss Roberto Martinez has praised the "phenomenal" Sergio Aguero ahead of his side's trip to Manchester City later today.

The Toffees are currently sitting in 11th in the Premier League, and Martinez admits that they will have to be at their best to beat the team he believes are playing the best football in England.

"Aguero is a phenomenal talent," Martinez is quoted as saying in The Mirror. "He is one of those players in the league who can singlehandedly win games.

"I think Sergio Aguero is at that level at this moment and we will have to be very aware of that tomorrow. I think City are playing the best football at the moment - they have found a really good feeling about themselves.

"Against Bayern Munich, we saw a real change in the confidence of the group. They played with real flair and swagger and they could be one of the hardest teams to face in the Premier League, along with Chelsea."

Aguero netted twice in City's 4-1 win over Sunderland in the week, taking his tally for the season to 19 goals in 20 games.
