Alan Shearer has described Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero as the Premier League's 'best-ever foreign player'.
Aguero netted his ninth hat-trick in the top flight on Sunday as City registered a 6-1 victory over Huddersfield Town, and the 30-year-old only sits two trebles behind record-holder Shearer.
The Argentine is still 30 goals short of topping the goalscoring charts as far as foreign imports are concerned, but Shearer still regards Aguero as the best frontman to arrive in British football.
The Newcastle United legend is quoted by The Sun: "Sergio Aguero is now on nine Premier League hat-tricks and only two behind me.
"The best foreign player to ever play in the Premier League. A great centre-forward with no weaknesses."
Aguero is also setting the early pace alongside Sadio Mane and Richarlison in the race for the Premier League Golden Boot.
