Manchester City star Raheem Sterling has claimed that he and his teammates lacked a "cutting edge" in tonight's stalemate against Leicester City.
The England international had a handful of chances to score, but it was not meant to be as the match at the King Power Stadium ended goalless.
"We played really well at times," Sterling told BT Sport. "For the majority of the game we controlled the game and had a couple of chances to score but they're a good team and kept us out and that's what the league is about.
"We were consistent throughout the game. The only thing that was missing was the final cutting edge. Our away form hasn't been great over the last few games and the most important thing was coming here, keeping a clean sheet and defending well."
City are third in the Premier League table, three points adrift of leaders Arsenal.
