Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has insisted that his row with manager Roberto Mancini helped to save his football career.
The Argentine clashed with the Italian boss during a Champions League game at Bayern Munich last September in which the forward is alleged to have refused to warm up for the game. As a result, he went AWOL for three months.
However, Tevez returned and help City go on to claim their first Premier League title and he says that the fight has done him good.
"For better or worse, the fight with Mancini was good for me," Tevez said.
"I am enjoying football again, which is what I wanted, to feel this hunger for glory and to be happy."
Tevez has scored in all three of City's Premier League matches this season.
