After winning a record fourth successive Premier League title in 2023-24, Manchester City will endeavour to preserve their place at the summit of English football in 2024-25 as well as compete for other domestic and continental trophies this term.

The Citizens have one of the most star-studded squads in world football, with some players tied down to long-term contracts and others facing uncertain futures at the club.

Here, Sports Mole takes a look at the Man City players whose contracts either expire at the end of next summer, or in 2026.

Which Man City players are out of contract next summer?

  • Kevin De Bruyne is the longest-serving player in Man City's current squad and remains a key figure in Pep Guardiola's plans heading into the new season.

The Belgian - who turns 34 next June - has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia and MLS, but Man City will allegedly 'do everything they can' to agree a new contract with their star playmaker.

  • Scott Carson has only made two competitive appearances for Man City since joining in 2019, but his experience and character is deemed invaluable by Guardiola in the dressing room.

Carson signed a new one-year contract extension in May 2024 to keep him at the club until the summer of 2025.

The versatile playmaker has confirmed that he plans to return to boyhood club Benfica before he retires, while the likes of Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and clubs in Saudi Arabia have previously been credited with an interest.

    Kyle Walker

The Brazilian will remain at the Etihad for the 2024-25 season, but speculation over his future could resurface next summer.
