Bernardo Silva is reportedly still keen to leave Manchester City in order to return to mainland Europe.
Citizens boss Pep Guardiola revealed during the summer transfer window that the Portugal international had informed the club of his desire to leave.
The deadline passed with the versatile attacker still in Manchester, though, and he has been an important player for the English champions this term, making five appearances in all competitions.
The 27-year-old, who was linked with both Atletico Madrid and Barcelona, still has four years left to run on his contract at the Etihad Stadium.
However, according to Eurosport, the Portuguese remains keen to leave Guardiola's side in 2022, as he does not feel at home in Manchester.
Silva - also linked with Tottenham Hotspur during the recent transfer window - is allegedly keen to return to mainland Europe in order to be closer to his family.
The attacker has scored 36 goals and registered 44 assists in 206 appearances for Man City since making the move from Monaco in July 2017.
