Manchester City will reportedly hold off contract talks with Ivory Coast midfielder Yaya Toure until next July.
The 29-year-old has three years remaining on his current contract, but his representatives are pushing for a new deal, according to Goal.com.
However, it is understood that the Premier League champions are in no rush to offer a new long-term deal to a player who will be 32 years old when his current contract expires.
It has been previously suggested that Toure would seek pastures new at the end of the season.
