Manchester City are reportedly looking to beat Barcelona to the signing of Spain international Nolito.
The 29-year-old, a former Barcelona B player, is expected to leave Celta Vigo this summer and is believed to have a £14.1m buyout clause.
Luis Enrique is said to be keen on signing the striker, whom he coached when he was manager of Celta Vigo, but the Daily Mail claims that City boss Pep Guardiola has other ideas.
Guardiola and sporting director Txiki Begiristain are thought to be working hard to convince the forward to snub the advances of Barca and move to the Etihad Stadium.
The new City manager is said to want Nolito as part of a front three, alongside Sergio Aguero and David Silva.
