Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is reportedly close to convincing Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos to move to the Etihad Stadium.
The Real Madrid star is rumoured to be the Citizens' main transfer target as Guardiola looks to build a title-winning side.
However, the Daily Star claims that the German international has entered private discussions about a possible switch to the Premier League after Euro 2016.
It is thought that Guardiola is hoping to play Kroos alongside new signing Ilkay Gundogan in a new-look midfield.
City are also said to be vying with Manchester United for the signature of Schalke 04 youngster Leroy Sane.
