Manchester City will reportedly bid for Marseille defender Nicolas N'Koulou as they look to bolster their back line.
N'Koulou has become a target because Liverpool defender Daniel Agger is deemed too expensive, according to the Daily Star.
The 22-year-old Cameroon international has only been at Marseille for one season but has built a reputation as a reliable, athletic defender.
City manager Roberto Mancini is believed to like N'Koulou because he can play in a number of different positions and thinks that his versatility could be a real asset to the squad.
