Manchester City are lining up a deal with bring Spanish star Isco to the Ethiad Stadium in the summer in a move worth £30m, according to a report.
The Daily Star claims that the 21-year-old Real Madrid attacker is unsettled at the Bernabeu after finding himself on the fringes of the first team under coach Carlo Ancelotti and is said to be seriously considering a move to City in the next transfer window.
The Blues are thought to be competing with Italian giants AC Milan for the Spanish international's signature, but are unwilling to offer reported Real target Sergio Aguero as part of any deal, having said that the Argentine forward is not for sale.
City were linked with Isco last summer and were believed to be close to completing a deal, before Real hijacked the move and lured the youngster to the Spanish capital.
Isco played under Blues boss Manuel Pellegrini at Malaga.
