Manchester City will reportedly offer striker Stevan Jovetic as a makeweight in a possible deal for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.
The Montenegrin star recently admitted that his future at the Blues was in doubt after he was dropped from the squad for the Champions League knockout stages in favour of new signing Wilfried Bony.
The Mirror claims that Juve are willing to take out-of-favour Jovetic to Turin in the summer should City come calling for sought-after star Pogba.
It is thought that any notion of a swap deal is unlikely due to the complexities of completing such a deal, but City are said to be preparing to use the Bianconeri's interest in Jovetic to try to lure the Pogba to the Etihad Stadium.
City closed the gap on Chelsea at the top of the Premier League to five points following a 5-0 win over Newcastle United on Saturday.
