Joao Felix is confident that he has "convinced" Portugal teammate and Manchester City playmaker Bernardo Silva to join him at Barcelona this summer.
Bernardo has been heavily linked with a move to Camp Nou ever since he expressed his desire to pursue a "new project" away from the Etihad Stadium in January last year.
The 29-year-old joined the Citizens from Monaco in 2017 and has since become an important first-team player under Pep Guardiola, operating in a variety of positions in midfield and attack.
Bernardo is enjoying his seventh season as a Man City player and in that time has made a total of 345 appearances across all tournaments, scoring 64 goals and providing 63 assists.
The versatile playmaker, who has chipped in with nine goals and five assists in 39 matches so far this season, has won 15 trophies during his time at City and could end the current campaign with three more as Guardiola's side chase down another treble.
Felix keen to play alongside Bernardo at Barca
Last week, Felix encouraged Barcelona sporting director Deco to sign Bernardo, labelling his Portuguese compatriot a "very good" player and 'even better person'.
Felix has since revealed that he has spoken in depth to Bernardo about the lifestyle in Catalonia and believes that he has done enough to 'convince' the playmaker to make the move to Camp Nou this summer.
Asked if he has persuaded Bernardo to join Barca during an interview on Catalunya Radio, Felix said: "I think so, I think so. Well, but now I don't think it depends on him."
"If Bernardo Silva comes, I'm going to ask for a commission," Felix joked. "Everything I have said is true and if he comes they will be delighted with him."
The 24-year-old added: "He is very careful with everything and he asked me about places to live, places to eat, about security... He asked me a little about everything and I said about tax issues because that's what came to mind."
Felix reiterates desire to complete permanent Barca move
Felix himself has also expressed his desire to join Barcelona on a permanent basis having spent the current campaign on loan from Atletico Madrid.
"I'm very happy in Barcelona. I love the city, the people, the club. My position is clear," the forward told Catalunya Radio.
"The dressing room is also incredible, I really hope to stay at the club beyond this season".
Felix has made a total of 35 appearances, including 23 starts, for the Catalan giants across all competitions so far this season, scoring nine goals and registering six assists, with two of his goals scored in separate games against parent club Atletico. body check tags ::
