Manchester City reportedly intend to tie versatile midfielder Phil Foden down to a new five-year deal worth £40,000 a week once he turns 18.
The England Under-17s World Cup winner, who made his sixth appearances of the season in the EFL Cup victory over Arsenal, reaches that milestone birthday in May.
According to the Daily Mail, City will double the teenager's wages in a couple of months' time as a reward for his impressive displays when called upon over the past few months.
Stockport-born Foden, a graduate from the Citizens' academy, will also supposedly have a number of bonus clauses inserted into his new terms.
Foden admitted last year that "it meant everything" making his debut for City in the Champions League win over Feyenoord.
