Inter Miami are reportedly looking to hijack New York City FC's move for Manchester City midfielder David Silva.
The 34-year-old confirmed last summer that this will be his final season with City following a decade of success at the Etihad Stadium.
A switch to Major League Soccer side New York, who share a close affiliation with the Citizens, appeared to be the most likely option for Silva.
However, The Mirror claims that David Beckham wants to add the Spanish playmaker to Inter's roster at the end of the English football season.
Silva has been used 28 times in all competitions by reigning Premier League champions City this term.
Inter and New York City have both lost their opening two MLS games of the 2020 campaign.
