Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte on loan this summer.
Since his £57m move to the Etihad Stadium in 2018, the 27-year-old had been a first-team regular under Pep Guardiola, until last season when the Spain international lost his place to John Stones.
According to Tuttosport, Juve are considering making an approach to City for Laporte, though they are more likely to negotiate a loan move instead of a permanent transfer due to their current financial predicament.
Laporte is believed to be willing to leave City this summer after falling down the pecking order, though the defender would prefer a move to Spain, with Barcelona and Real Madrid having previously expressed their interest in his services.
City will not stand in the way of Laporte if he asks to leave this summer, however the club would hope to receive a transfer fee rather than negotiate a loan deal.
Laporte, who has four years left on his contract, has made 111 appearances across all competitions for City and has won 10 trophies, including three Premier League titles. body check tags ::
