Leeds United are allegedly on the brink of sealing a deal for Dinamo Zagreb defender Josko Gvardiol.
Despite having already strengthened his backline with the addition of Robin Koch, head coach Marcelo Bielsa is eager to bring in a second centre-back before the new season.
While numerous names have been linked with a switch to Elland Road, the Daily Mail claims that Gvardiol is expected to pen a deal with the Yorkshire giants.
Gvardiol, who does not turn 19 until January, has already made 13 first-team appearances for Dinamo, with a further 12 outings coming in the UEFA Youth League.
The Croatia Under-21 international could cost as much as £17.6m if he completes a transfer to the Premier League newcomers.
Manchester City and Bayern Munich have been linked with the teenager in the past.
